We had a wonderful trip to Washington DC (two weekends ago, at this point) to celebrate my Aunt’s graduation from George Washington University (she earned a Master’s in International Development — oooof, I hope I don’t have that wrong). The trip consisted mainly of the ceremony, time catching up with my aunt (my dad, her oldest sibling, joined us as well), having great food (Mexican, Cuban, and then Greek/Lebanese/Turkish), and squeezing in short visits to the Air and Space museum and the Botanical Gardens. Check out some of the photos by clicking on the one below:
The posts here have been pretty light (er… nonexistent) for the last few weeks. The primary reason is that we have been traveling so much, though when the weather is nice around here it is equally hard to sit down at a computer and ramble on for a bit (even more so when Caleb happens to be asking to play baseball every few seconds). Two weeks ago we took the train down to Washington D.C. for my Aunt Katherine’s graduation ceremonies (congratulations Katherine!), and yesterday we returned from a trip to the Philadelphia-area for the birthdays of two of my nephews, Giovanni and Vincenzo (happy birthday guys!). Whew!
Here are a few photos from the DC trip to tide you over while I work on a more complete post:
